Project 911 “Pegasus” – The Beginning…

We finally finished our Project M6 “Silver Bullet” and the car found a new home meaning the time has come to introduce our latest project. The 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is our latest acquisition and the car that we will be taking to that next level. We found that based on our first project ever, which was a Gemballa GT650 Bi turbo 911, that Porsches simply can be customized inside and out, in just about a thousand ways meaning creativity will be the essential factor here. So starts Project “Pegasus”…

For 2012, Project “Pegasus” will slowly become a work of art and the outcome of how the car turns out will be ultimately up to you guys as you will have several choices to vote on what you want the car to look like and what the next mod should be.

We picked up this car in Nashville, TN at a local Porsche Dealer who gave us an incredible deal on this certified pre-owned, low mileage example. We not only got the deal we wanted but traveled all the way to Nashville just to get a White on Black model, which in convertible form isn’t very easy to find.

Our 911 C4S Cab comes equipped with the following options:

  • PASM Suspension
  • PCM
  • 6 Speed Manual Transmission
  • Full Supple Leather interior
  • Aluminum trim
  • Porsche Crests in seats
  • Bi Xenon headlights
  • BOSE Sound System
  • Carrera 19″ Classic II Wheels.
  • XM Satellite Radio
  • 4S aluminum door sills

We opted for a lighter optioned car as we wanted to ensure we don’t double pay for things such as optioned steering wheels and factory performance options.

For this project we have reached out to a few sponsors like ADV1, Forgestar, D2 Forged, Eibach, Bumperplugs, Fabspeed, Rotec, Euro Koncepts, and more to get the ball rolling on getting the right parts. We will be utilizing voting polls on Facebook as well as on our forum where our members, readers, and followers, will gladly participate in telling us which direction we should take.

We will be breaking down the phases into: exterior, wheels and tires, interior, engine and suspension.

Enjoy the few pics we snapped when we took delivery and see you next month as we unveil the list of mods and the start of project ” Pegasus”.
