May 2010 was quite brutal on the stock market, as the word volatility was an understatement. The Real Estate market has been moving but will it continue? What about the Euro? Will it really crumble the dollar or will we have a recovery? Are we headed into another recession? These are all excellent questions and mid year is the best time to answer them, so I decided to do an all around economic outlook to bring everyone up to date on where we are and where we are going.

We have watched Apple soar with the launch of its newest iPad, bank stocks recovering, unemployment improving, increased home sales, and increased US exports.

Economic Outlook for April 2010

Where to start? There have been so many changes since last month that it makes this month’s economic outlook a bit longer than usual but some good markers to consider. The biggest change in our economic outlook is the topic of interest every night on every channel: Healthcare!

I am not going to spend much time talking about pros and cons of the Healthcare bill nor voice an opinion about where I stand on that bill, but rather say that the $1 trillion dollar bill will not be cheap on any level to the American people.
