The power to help drive society forward is within all of us. Each person has it within them to make an impact on society in their own way. Here at Secret Entourage we believe that innovation comes from people, people wanting to make a difference, and therefore created a site dedicated to bringing all those people together and giving them a voice to help inspire others. We believe that entrepreneurship is an art that can help individuals identify themselves and bring value to those around them ultimately helping to bring about the true purpose for our very own existence.

    I came across this article today and thought this was a perfect one to share with you guys. I found that it got me quite motivated to take that extra step and go that extra mile.

    My favorite point->

    Embrace every failure: Own it, learn from it, and take full responsibility for making sure that next time, things will turn out differently.
    Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. ~Niccolò Machiavelli

    One of the best article I've read in a long time. I especially like this part regarding going the extra mile:
    "Everyone says they go the extra mile. Almost no one actually does. Most people who go there think, "Wait... no one else is here... why am I doing this?" and leave, never to return."

    I've caught myself doing exactly this so many times. It's so hard to not give in to that pull to return to the status quo and to just trust your better judgement that your going the extra mile isn't just hard work...but smart work as well. I don't believe in busy work and doing stuff just because you have the energy to do so. However, if that extra effort is going to reap rewards we must push through and get it done regardless of what that lazy little fear-based voice is telling us to do.

    Props on the post. Printing it out and putting it on my bulletin board.

    I am not big on sharing articles because most topics are a dime a dozen, but this one i felt was worth the share (as are the Secret Articles).
