Tucked away in the beautiful Orange County city of Tustin, California, resides a hidden $30 million car collection at the Marconi Museum. The museum was founded by Dick Marconi, an avid car collector and health medicine entrepreneur, who decided to purchase a 100,000 sq ft warehouse and turn it into a non profit automotive museum, featuring the worlds rarest cars and motorcycles of all eras. Our partners at ModLyfe had the chance to attend this great event and shared some of the images with us.

Just recently passed was the 2011 SEMA show where we had the privilege of attending. For those that do not know what SEMA is, it is a showcase of the worlds leading automotive industry manufacturers and their products. It is held in Las Vegas and closed to the public without proper credentials. It spans four days because it is simply huge. We were only able to attend one day, which was almost enough to walk through everything. If you were there for business, however, you would need several days to network and check out all the vendors. BMW has quite a cult following by creating a luxurious sports car without compromising performance. This does not hold true for their German counterpart AMG who most recently started to produce some true performance cars. Because of BMW’s loyal fans, two major events, MFEST and BimmerFest, were created to hold the nations largest BMW meet. The problem with these events are that they are generally held on the West coast, usually in Southern California or Vegas. That is until now… BimmerFest recently held their East coast meet that brought out nearly 2000 of the nation’s top modified BMW’s including vendors such as our good friends D2 Forged and Martino Auto Concepts. Supercar Sunday hosted their annual Ferrari vs Lamborghini car show in Woodland Hills over the weekend. Expectations were pretty high as cars such as the Lamborghini Aventador or Ferrari SA Aperta could have made an appearance but failed to do so. Hundreds of cars gathered with the majority being Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s of course and a supporting cast of enthusiast cars from Ultima’s to Nissan GTR’s. While the turnout did lack some of the cars in attendance last year such as the Lamborghini LP670-SV, there was a plethora of more ‘common’ exotics such as the F430 and Gallardo as you’ll see in the pictures. The season for car rallies is well underway, Gold Rush 3 and Gumball just ended and Bull Run is just about to start but somewhere in Canada the OverRun Rally just took place. As you may have heard from some of our previous posts, Klutch22 is the official app of many rallies and our friend Julien Noel, one of the founders of Klutch22, which only a few months ago was working hard to launch the app, is now enjoying driving a 2007 Bentley Gt through his own rally The Klutch22 Overrun Rally.
