Another year and another wild trip to Vegas for SEMA 2012 resulted in priceless memories. From vendors showcasing innovative products, to seeing familiar faces and meeting new people, to the crazy project cars shops scrambled to complete for SEMA, all this and more made SEMA memorable and one to remember. The star of the show was handsdown the Scion FRS, with dozens on display. But that wasn’t to take away from the stunning vehicles that were on display for all kinds of enthusiasts from truck owners to the luxury/exotic crowd. This is one event where you had to be there to understand the size and magnitude of such event. We’ll let the pictures do the talking!

Another years means another epic Gumball 3000 Rally just wrapped up. This year they decided to stay within one continent and started from New York City and finally ended in Hollywood, CA. We had a moment to stop by the finish line in Hollywood to check out some of the cars arriving after the 3000 mile cross country trek. As you can expect, lots of high line exotics, great personalities, and a fun time. You can put this on our bucket list of things to do for sure.

Tucked away in the beautiful Orange County city of Tustin, California, resides a hidden $30 million car collection at the Marconi Museum. The museum was founded by Dick Marconi, an avid car collector and health medicine entrepreneur, who decided to purchase a 100,000 sq ft warehouse and turn it into a non profit automotive museum, featuring the worlds rarest cars and motorcycles of all eras. Our partners at ModLyfe had the chance to attend this great event and shared some of the images with us.

Just recently passed was the 2011 SEMA show where we had the privilege of attending. For those that do not know what SEMA is, it is a showcase of the worlds leading automotive industry manufacturers and their products. It is held in Las Vegas and closed to the public without proper credentials. It spans four days because it is simply huge. We were only able to attend one day, which was almost enough to walk through everything. If you were there for business, however, you would need several days to network and check out all the vendors. BMW has quite a cult following by creating a luxurious sports car without compromising performance. This does not hold true for their German counterpart AMG who most recently started to produce some true performance cars. Because of BMW’s loyal fans, two major events, MFEST and BimmerFest, were created to hold the nations largest BMW meet. The problem with these events are that they are generally held on the West coast, usually in Southern California or Vegas. That is until now… BimmerFest recently held their East coast meet that brought out nearly 2000 of the nation’s top modified BMW’s including vendors such as our good friends D2 Forged and Martino Auto Concepts.
